Spanish 2 & Lab

Spanish / Grades 9-12 / Periods 4 and 5 / SD / 1T-2T-3T

This is a 3-trimester course, the second year of high school Spanish. The class consists of 2 periods, class and language lab; both are required. The coursework is grammar intensive, continuing with the present, past, future, and conditional tenses; vocabulary includes nature, everyday activities, professions, the city, animals, personality. Conversation, reading and culture will also be emphasized. Lab time will consist of review, conversation, and quizzes, while class time will be devoted to vocabulary, grammar, and reading. Students are encouraged to keep and have access to their Spanish I text, and also purchase a softcover worktext.
Prerequisite: Spanish I

Textbook: Spanish is Fun, Book 2, available through the publisher, Amsco/Perfection Learning, online. This is the student edition, softcover.
