French A (6-10)

Bonjour! This 3-trimester course is a thorough introduction to the French language, geared toward middle school and early high school students. During class time we learn useful everyday French through fun activities, and every five weeks we have an exam and a party. Homework is structured for four days a week outside of class and includes listening to and speaking with the required audio CD, writing workbook exercises, watching interactive videos and taking a short weekly quiz online. Students must purchase the workbook and audio CD, available at www.christianbook.com and good for all three trimesters. This class is the precursor to French B; older students may move directly from this class to high school French 1.
